Jon Anderson
A native of Cinnaminson, New Jersey, Jon Anderson brought home three state Cross Country champion titles by the age of 18. Jon was accepted to the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, and ran four years on their Varsity Track and Field, and Cross Country Teams. Following graduation, Jon served five years in the United States Army as an artillery officer. Between combat tours to both Iraq and Afghanistan, Jon ran on the All Army Cross Country team and competed for the All Armed Forces team in the 2010 Cross Country Military World Championships.
Since resigning his commission as a captain, Jon has continued his pursuits as coach for the Fort Carson Army 10 Miler team. A lifetime mentor for young adult athletes, Jon is a USA Track and Field level I certified coach and TRX level 1 certified instructor who has placed at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships and competed in multiple NCAA Track Championships.
